Itinerary
Greetings Alumni Band Members! We’re so delighted you
will be joining us this weekend for the 2009 Alumni Band Reunion. Please
take a few moments to read the itinerary below. Music is available online
at www.ukalumni.net/bandnotes.
Please find your appropriate part and print out the music for each song.
Please note the following:
·
This game is designated as Military Appreciation
Day. The Wildcat Marching Band Halftime Show will be in honor of Armed
Forces and troops will be present in the stands. There will also be a
pre-game display of a large American flag on the field and parachuters during
the pre-game due to the theme.
·
There will also be an Athletics Hall of Fame
presentation at halftime.
·
The College of Agriculture’s annual Ag Roundup
will also be taking place this weekend at the E.S. Good Barn Field.
·
There will be an opportunity to purchase a meal
at BCTCS following the marching rehearsal at a nominal fee. Proceeds will
go to Kappa Kappa Psi.
·
Due to these circumstances, it may mean some
changes from years past as far as placement of instruments, cases, etc. for the
performance at the stadium. Announcements will be made at rehearsal as to
any procedures that need to be followed for the performances.
·
Please also note that due to increased security
and the number of activities surrounding the game, we must adhere to the game
management policy. Game management policy requires that all persons
entering the field be credentialed or in uniform (in this case, wearing the
alumni band t-shirt).
