Job Seekers

The University of Kentucky Career Center and The University of Kentucky Alumni Association are proud to offer expanded career services for alumni. Career services are available in person, by phone, or through e-mail. To better serve alumni, a Career Center representative will be available from 9 a.m. until noon on the first and third Saturdays of each month during the spring and fall semesters.

Individual consultations with a career specialist are available by appointment to Alumni Association members. Your career specialist can assist you in all phases of your career/job search including: exploring career fields, identifying marketable skills, polishing your resume, refining your interview skills, researching employers, preparing for an interview or customizing a job search campaign. To be eligible for on-campus interviews and Wildcat CareerLink, you must be a graduate of the University of Kentucky. There is a four session limit for individual career advising. Alumni Association members may contact Caroline Francis at 859-257-9323 or e-mail her at cfrancis@uky.edu.

If you aren't currently a member and would like to take part in this valuable member benefit, joining is easy. Simply call 859-257-8905 or 1-800-269-ALUM or join online.

The UK Mentoring & Shadowing Network is a comprehensive program that links UK students and alumni with professionals for career exploration and guidance. We invite UK alumni and friends to be a part of this program. Participants in the UK Mentoring & Shadowing Network can choose their level of involvement in the program, such as having a one-time informational meeting with a student/alum, hosting a student/alum at your workplace for a site visit, or engaging students/alumni in mentoring relationships.

Help others succeed by sharing your professional expertise. By participating in the UK Alumni Career Network, a collaborative program of the UK Alumni Association and the James W.
