Your Wildcat sculpture is the newest celebrity and tradition on the University of Kentucky campus. Dedicated in April 2012, the beautiful bronze sculpture in Wildcat Alumni Plaza represents what it means to be a Kentucky Wildcat. The Wildcat sculpture stands for your pride in blue and serves as a friendly ambassador to campus visitors and a sentimental connection to your college years!
The Wildcat sculpture has almost everything - an ideal location, celebrity status and a wonderful UK family…
all it lacks is a name!
This fall, all UK students are invited to help name the Wildcat sculpture!
Students have submitted names and the Wildcat Naming Contest committee
comprised of UK students has narrowed the list down to three top names.
Now its time to vote!
